Schumacher fit for further testing - Abdominal pain no more than a minor scare
Ralf Schumacher will be testing again for Williams next week after returning home from this week's Valencia session with a stomach problem. Although Schumacher visited the hospital, the team says it is not a serious illness.
The German has returned home to Salzburg for some rest over the weekend, but the team says he'll be back for next week's Barcelona tests. The stomach problem forced him to miss yesterday's work, which was Williams' final day at Valencia.
"Ralf has seen his own doctors now and it's his lower stomach," a Williams spokesperson told Reuters. "He's been given something for it and he will be in the car again in Barcelona on Monday."
Schumacher had to leave last year's pre-Italian Grand Prix test early when he had a heavy crash in the Williams. He subsequently missed the Monza race as well.
